PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ecobilan involved
in a project on eco-efficient innovations via integrated product-service
(PSS) offers
PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ecobilan took part in a European project
on eco-efficient innovations via integrated product-service offers.
The aim of the project was to devise a methodology for development
of innovative offers and to develop an integrated toolkit for
innovation based on the product-service approach. The methodology
highlights the key factors of success for innovative PSS and offers
a systematic framework for innovation so as to ensure that all
issues have been considered.

by PricewaterhouseCoopers and took place over 3 years,
starting in 2001. It brought together actors from

The final results of the MEPSS project were presented in a joint
Conference with other EU projects on innovative offers on the
13th of October 2004. The main results of the project were:
- An integrated methodology including existing and new tools
and that will be published in a manager's handbook and supporting
website;
- A collection of worksheets summarizing the process to follow
to implement the tools to assist the innovation process;
- A collection of best practices in the PSS field;
- Some practical examples of the implementation of the MEPSS
methodology with mainly 2 actors: a paint company and an electricity
producer.
